Kitchen Supervisor - Part Time
Starting Pay - $16.00 per hour ($1.00 increase after positive 90 day Evaluation)
Work Week 1 - Work 4 Days
Work Week 2 - Work 3 Days
Rotating 42 hours per pay period.

Purpose: The Part-Time Kitchen Supervisor is required
to make educated decisions affecting the efficiency of the meal service. They
are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment and will also
supervise employees while and securing the kitchen before closing.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all safety and sanitary guidelines are followed.
- Perform light cooking, cleaning, serving cafeteria-style.
- Work alongside volunteers by training and communicating clearly their job expectations and safety requirements.
- Check food prepared or brought in by providers and make a decision based on current populations whether there is sufficient quantities of menu items to feed our populations. Delegating problem-solving if there is an issue.
- Coordinate Staffing/Volunteers in the
case of a shortage of help.
- Responsible for making sure the food
being served is at the correct temperatures and has been handled with
HACCP Food Service guidelines while in our kitchen.
- Responsible for the oversight that all
areas are clean and clients are proportionately served.
- Responsible for oversight of all kitchen
activity and workflow with clients, staff, and volunteers.
- Responsible for properly closing and
securing kitchen and receiving areas of The Food Service Department
following dinner service (in a timely manner)
- Will alternate shifts with another Supervisor.
- Basic Knowledge of Food Safety and
Kitchen equipment use and cleaning.
Position Requirements:
- Able to understand and work a
Trauma-Informed Care Management Style
- Some
weekends are mandatory
- Conducts
self in a manner of professionalism that is conducive to recovery from
mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and overall wellness, including a
minimum of one year of continuous sobriety if in recovery, from the
substance for which you are in recovery

program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
