Donation Center Associate & Driver
Purpose:
The Donation Driver’s is responsible for loading,
driving, and unloading Stephen Center vehicles (truck/van) used to pick up
&/or deliver product/donations to our agency partners and donors. The Donation Driver actively promotes the Stephen
Center’s mission to the community by picking up donations throughout the city. The
Donation Associate role is a hands-on position with the responsibility to help
the Donation Manager accept and organize donations. The Donation Associate will
work with the staff and volunteers to ensure that the dock and storage area
remains clean and organized and donations are dealt with on a timely basis. The
Donation Associate actively promotes Stephen Center’s mission to the community.
The Donation Associate works with the Donation Manager to meet production goals.
Key Accountabilities:

To undertake all duties and
interactions with employees, partner providers and customers fairly, without
unlawful discrimination and with due regard to Stephen Center Policy.

Daily use of strong customer service skills when
interacting with external stakeholders/donors.
·
Complete assigned route and loading/unloading of
truck.
·
Accurately completing paperwork for all donated
products.
·
Upkeep and cleanliness of vehicles.
·
To perform general upkeep of the donation dock
area to include: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, basic maintenance and outdoor
clean up.
·
Be prepared to work a flexible
schedule to include weekends and evenings.
·
Other duties as assigned.
Starting wage $13.50/hour
Position Requirements:
PPossess and maintain valid driver’s license.
· Have a clean driving record
· At least 21 years old
· At least 1 year of sobriety
· High school diploma or GED preferred
·
Conducts
self in a manner of professionalism that is conducive to recovery from mental
illness, co-occurring disorders and overall wellness, including a minimum of
one year of continuous sobriety if in recovery, from the substance for which
you are in recovery.

Abides
by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.

An authentic and
