- Secures
premises and personnel by monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting
buildings, and access points; permitting entry/exits.

Accurately monitors and
reports activities of individuals in an effort to provide feedback to staff.

Investigates reports of
disturbance or suspicious circumstances.
·
Conducts initial safety
inspection of individuals and their property upon admission to the facility.
·
Contacts local law enforcement
if circumstances warrant.
- Participates
and contributes in education/training activities and staff meetings, as
schedule allows.
- Prevents
losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy
and procedures; discouraging/preventing trespassers.
- Completes
reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and
surveillance activities.
- Maintains
environment by monitoring building and surveillance cameras.
- Maintains
the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal
requirements.
- Ensures
operation of equipment/cameras and reports any issues to Maintenance.
(i.e. camera malfunctions, camera outages, software malfunctions).
- Assist
in emergency situations such as medical emergency, weather emergency, security,
and fire emergency. Overnight Guest Services will know and follow
Stephen Center policy on these situations.
- Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing office-related duties as assigned.

- Experience
or lived experience working with communities of color or diverse
socio-economic communities highly preferred.

Ability to two way verbally
